Barrel Bash Pensacola Rules:

• All IBRA Side pots will have $250 each day, NBHA Side pots will have $1500 each day
• Futurity and Derby Entries will be 2 Go’s and an Average. After the 1st Go NO rider changes are allowed. 50% will go to the average, 25 % to each round
• Stalls are good from Thursday at 9am until Sunday at 4pm. If you come early or stay an extra night you will be charged $35 per stall per night, same as hook ups
• The average format will pay out based on the best two of all three runs; Fri, Sat & Sun.
• Pre-entries must be done online before March 16, at Midnight. Late fees apply after 3/16. Checks must be post marked by 2/28 and mailed to 1280 Broad St Kinsey Alabama 36303
• All payments made with credit card will be charged a 6% fee. 3% saddlebook fee and 3 % credit card fee.
• It will be a $20.00 office fee to change horse or rider after entry is completed. Each time a change is needed it will be a $20 fee.
• Vet outs must be done before midnight at 3/16 and will be refunded 80% of entry fee only.
• No refunds on stalls or hook ups.
• Late entries will be issued a late fee every time the rider enters after 3/16
• All horses staying overnight must be stalled. No tie outs will be allowed for overnight horses. If a horse is tied out after 3 hours after the show ends its owner is excepting the $250 fine given by the facility or allowing producer to move their horse into a stall and pay the weekend stall fee.
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Western attire required. Long sleeve, cowboy hat or helmet unless wearing a production shirt and production hat.
• $40 fee for returned checks
• All prizes will be given after the show on Saturday or Sunday and MUST BE present to receive them. Please check the schedule for approximate times of awards
• Standard 4-D Format that will be paid 100% of added money and 70% of the entry fees.
• Stalls are good from Thursday night to Sunday Evening. Stalls are first come first serve. Stalls needing specific priority must be bought online. Anyone who comes in before 9am on Thursday am will be responsible for paying for Thursday night
• Stalls are $85 and will be bought through saddlebook. RV’s will be bought on saddlebook. NO REFUNDS on stalls or Hook Ups. Hay and Shavings can be pre ordered. Stalls come with one bag of shavings per stalls. Stalls are 12x12 clay dirt stalls.
• Futurity and Derby will both run as a side pot for the open on Friday night and will have a random draw number in the Futurity or Derby that will run prior to the Open on Saturday and Sunday .
• Both Futurity and derby will run as two go’s and an average. $2,500 added money total will be split 25%, 25% to each go, & 50% to the average. The Derby will be a 3-D with .5 splits and the Futurity will run as a 2-D with a .75 split.
• Horses must check into the holding pen the drag before. If they are not in the holding pen they will forfeit their run.
• All checks will be mailed by the following Monday if a w9 is filed into the office. If a w9 is not filed onsite we will mail you your check within 30 days of the date we have received your w9. After checks are mailed, we will wait 21 days before any checks will be reissued if lost.
• Any errors regarding results or side pots must be reported in person to the office staff before the end of the class in question. No changes will be made once checks have been issued. Check real-time results at Saddlebook.com
• All entries will be done via saddlebok. If using the check option the check must be mailed and postmarked by 2/28
• The show schedule will be posted the week before the barrel race on the event Facebook page.
• Checks must be cashed within 60 days of issue date or they will be considered void/null and you will have to pay $20 reissue fee to be reissued a check
• NBHA members who wish to run and not roll their time from the open will enter on site to avoid the $20 office fee.
• NBHA AL05, AL06 and Fl 07 who enter both the Open $2,500 race and enter the $1,500 added NBHA all three days will be eligible for Champion and Reserve Champion Buckles. These buckles will be given out on Sunday after the open. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
• Perdue Productions reserves the right to create any new rule or modify any existing rule, in order to better the sport or this barrel race. We will run off of NBHA and WPRA rules
